RSMLL Athletics for Academics The 2011 season was our inaugural year with 147 player qualifying for Athletics 4 Academics Recognition Awards and we hope to better that number this year. Athletics 4 Academics was created to build a stronger relationship between Athletics and Academics, and help our young athletes understand that success can be achieved in both activities by employing some shared core principles. That said, 70% of the players named to the RSMLL's All-Star teams in 2011 were also recipients of Athletics 4 Academics Recognition Awards. The goal is to encourage children to adapt a mindset geared towards success regardless of the task. Click here for the application form

The winners of the Sees and Popcornopolis fundraising are the top 3 sellers league wide for combined total of both Sees and Popcorn sales and the team with the highest sales total. We sold over $26,000 in product and the league will make approximately $10,000! Congratulations everyone on a great job! Composite Bat Moratorium - New Bats Added Updated 7/29/11 Little League International has placed a moratorium on the use of composite bats in the Majors Division and below. Please click herefor addtional information. You will see two lists on this link, a licensed bat list and the approved composite list. A licensed bat is only approved if it meets all of rule 1.10. A composite bat is only approved if it is on the list located on the LL website.   All bats must conform to rule 1.10 in the Green Book. For Little League (majors) and below: The bat shall not be more than 33 inches in length nor more than 2 1/4 inches in diameter. Non-wood bats shall be printed with a BPF (Bat Performance Factor) of 1.15 or less.
